The Old Farmhouse, Braithwaite
The Old Farmhouse is the jewel in our crown. Dating back to 1656, The Old Farmhouse is a picture perfect Lakeland Farmhouse which has recently been renovated to offer the highest standards of accommodation.
The large spacious kitchen with Aga, integral cooker and ceramic hob has an abundance of kitchen units and is fitted with an integral fridge, freezer, dishwasher, a waste disposal unit and double Belfast sink. There is also a seated dining area. The main lounge/dining room is a very long room with low beamed ceilings and a large Inglenook fireplace, the room is furnished with a banquet style 8 seater dining table and quality leather seating in the Lounge with TV/DVD.
There is also a cosy TV/DVD lounge just off the hall which can be used as a separate children’s TV lounge. Carrying on through the TV Lounge brings you to your own private patio area.
Upstairs the Old Farmhouse offers 2 king-size bedrooms, both en-suite with showers, and 1 double bedroom. All have ample storage space and are furnished to a high standard, they also have flat screen TVs. The master bedroom also has a double sofa bed. The twin bedded room has flat screen TV and a separate large bathroom with a traditional claw footed bath complete with free standing double sized shower.
The adjoining Farmhouse Cottage is a 2 storey building that sleeps 4 and, like the Farmhouse, has been fully renovated to a high standard with all mod-cons.
The Farmhouse and Famrhouse Cottage come complete with all utilities and are central heated. The Old Farmhouse can sleep 6/8 persons or adjoined with the Cottage to sleep a maximum of 8/12 persons. Within the same complex we also have two further cottages that each sleep 2 people
The Farmhouse, Farmhouse Cottage and both cottages all have WIFi internet access.

The Mews Cottages are cosy traditional Lakeland stone cottages that have recently been refurbished to modern standards. They each have a lounge, bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen with microwave and a seated dining area. Some are on a single level and some over two. A choice to suit everyone.
